They are also a sister band, which is another thing I love to see in the music industry. Anyone who knows me at all knows my sisters are my best friends on planet Earth. We all still lived under the same roof until the beginning of this past school year and we have not had any problems with getting along since leaving our overlapping "moody teenager" phases years ago. We do everything we can together, and as big music people, we often share concert experiences with one another. Seeing anyone in concert with one of my sisters is always going to be my favorite, but seeing a band of sisters with all of my sisters is incredible every time. Of course, my mom attends the shows too, but she prefers her designated seat on the balcony rather than standing in the general admission crowd, so we always meet up with her after the show and talk about our favorite songs and moments with her on the car ride home.
Joseph's latest album is incredibly written. The girls in my household had been counting down the days until the release, especially since the singles made their live debut on Joseph's last tour. They never disappoint with their performances, setlists, outfits, or energy on stage. Each and every show we have attended has been special and intimate in its own unique way, and it has been so amazing to see them year after year with my sisters and my mom on each tour.

This was another long-awaited sister concert! My mom did not go with us to see Lizzy McAlpine, but this was one of the special shows that all four of my sisters attended together. A full weekend of sister shows is something that does not happen as often for us now that my 19-year-old sister has moved a few hours away, so this was a special little treat to have right before my college graduation the following weekend.
We have been fans of Lizzy together for several years. We discovered her together on Tiktok and have spent years sending her songs back and forth to one another. We had tickets to see her on her "Five Seconds Flat" tour, but the show was canceled the day of. The anticipation of this show in particular has been building up for years and it was only heightened by our missed opportunity to see her last year, so this was a surreal experience for us to share together. I saw so many of my concert friends I have met at other local shows here and we made a lot of new friends as well, which is always one of my favorite takeaways from a live music experience. As expected, Lizzy herself was perfect and the show was incredible from start to finish. Our experience overall was very low maintenance, all laid-back and everything went very smoothly, which was just another very pleasant thing to add to the existing mix.I am super grateful to have seen Lizzy tour with her five seconds flat album before she announces her next one, especially with the cancelation of our previous show leading up to this moment. It was everything we could have hoped for and more, and I can't wait to see her continue to grow as an artist and with her following through the rest of her career. She was and always will be incredible.
